Technical Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Senior Business Development Manager and support overall sales objectives.
  • Drive sales revenue growth and expand customer base through structured sales activities.
  • Manage existing and new customer accounts, including sales presentations, solution selling, upselling, and deal closure.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Design team to manage customer technical requirements and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage key account fundamentals, including sales forecasting, margin management, and issue escalation.
  • Conduct market intelligence activities to gather industry, competitor, and lead information.
  • Lead and coordinate projects to ensure timely and successful execution through completion.
  • Execute end-to-end sales and purchasing processes, including RFQ response, negotiation, purchasing coordination, delivery management, and payment follow-up.
  • Support business development activities across Asia, USA, Europe, and other assigned regions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience within the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.
  • Strong understanding of the EMS electronics market and competitive landscape is an advantage.
  • Class 3 driving licence with own vehicle is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and professional approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin, with the ability to conduct presentations and liaise with Chinese-speaking business associates.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines.
  • Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are preferred.
